The marriage was confirmed in a statement from Swift's publicist, Tree Paine, who said the couple exchanged vows during a private ceremony officiated by actor Adam Sandler. Paine said the couple departed from traditional wedding customs by choosing not to have bridesmaids or groomsmen. Instead, Swift's brother, Austin Swift, served as her man of honor, while Kelce's brother, Jason Kelce, was best man.
Following the ceremony, a large "JUST&T MARRIED" display illuminated the venue's exterior, signaling the conclusion of the event as guests departed the Midtown Manhattan arena. Authorities had maintained extensive security around the venue throughout the celebration after preparations that began days earlier.
Paine said both Swift and Kelce wore custom Christian Dior Haute Couture designed by Jonathan Anderson, paired with Christian Louboutin footwear and Cartier jewelry. The couple wrote their own vows, while singer-songwriter Stevie Nicks performed during the reception, according to the publicist.
The guest list included celebrities from music, film and professional sports, among them Paul McCartney, Bradley Cooper and Gigi Hadid, according to multiple media reports. Fans also gathered outside Madison Square Garden during the event, though access to the ceremony remained restricted.
Swift, one of the world's best-selling recording artists, and Kelce, a tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs, have been among the most closely followed celebrity couples since their relationship became public in 2023. Their engagement was announced in 2025.
