The match remained deadlocked through the second half before Bellingham struck again in the 93rd minute of extra time, converting from close range to complete England's comeback and book Thomas Tuchel's side a semifinal against Argentina.
The Real Madrid midfielder's latest decisive display followed another two-goal performance in England's previous knockout victory over Mexico, making him the driving force behind the team's progression through the elimination rounds. The brace also took Bellingham level with Harry Kane as England's leading scorer at the tournament with six goals.
England had been forced to respond after Norway, led by captain Martin Ødegaard and striker Erling Haaland, threatened throughout an intense contest. Haaland tested goalkeeper Jordan Pickford early before Schjelderup gave the Scandinavian side the advantage, but England gradually asserted greater control after Bellingham's equaliser.
