WESTLAKE, Texas — Charles Schwab Corp. reported record trading activity in the second quarter of 2026, with daily average trades reaching a new high as the brokerage firm posted record quarterly revenue and earnings amid increased client engagement.

The company said daily average trading volume rose to 11.9 million trades during the quarter, up 57% from a year earlier, while trading revenue increased 28% year over year to $1.2 billion. Schwab attributed the increase to stronger client activity across its brokerage platform.
